Everyone knows the big hits of this superb band South. Such hits as "Free Bird," "Sweet Home Alabama", "Tuesday" Gone "," Simple Man, "" Whiskey Rock-a-roller "," Saturday night special, "" Gimme back my bullets "or" Gimme 3 steps "are mega-classic not only of the band, but the history of Rock.
But the great thing about this band is that, in addition to all this battery immortal songs, none of his records, especially those of the original lineup, had a bad song, and within these songs, you find gems, truly great songs that have always been bit in the shadow of their "big brothers", but which nevertheless fail to be memorable songs.
So today is a good day to remember any of those songs that are not included (with limited exceptions) in the compilation of the band, who are not diehard fans of this exceptional band unknown, but are songs that have wanted to if hundreds and hundreds of bands.
"Poison Whiskey", including the debut album of the band, tremendous temazo:
"The needle and the spoon." Tremendo temazo on his second album. A memorable song, no doubt:
"On the hunt" from their third album, "Nuthin 'fancy." One of those songs that got me down for a while, with that superb guitar riff. Piece of song, memorable
"Double trouble". Tremendous 2:44 minutes song, included in his 1976 album "Gimme Back My Bullets." Bestial:
And finally, two great songs by Steve Gaines memorable for the 1977 album "Street Survivors", which are two piece of spectacular songs. The first, "Is not no good life", sung by Gaines himself, and the second, "I never dreamed" that has always been a song that I greatly blown away, and I always thought it is very underrated:
This is just one small example of what Skynyrd is "hidden" in their discs, "hidden" behind the classics, and all we fans know well, but for those who may know only their classic, well would you do to listen to their whole albums, because they are full of real gems .-
